Dr Bielu brings in over 25 years’ experience as a primary care physician to Providence Family Medical Centre.
Exposure to diverse disease conditions and uniqueness of African patients in Nigeria and South Africa, and 6 years practice in Alberta make him equipped to attend to the diverse Northeast Calgary communities.
He is a good listener of patients’ medical conditions, nonjudgmental and puts patients’ interest first. Dr Bielu is mindful of social and economic impacts on health. He is much aware that not all patients have good drug plan, therefore involves patients in decision making to achieve the most cost-effective method to speedy recovery.
Dr Bielu did his undergrad medical studies in Nigeria and migrated to South Africa where he did post graduate family medicine training and practiced for over 18 years. During this period, he obtained a master’s degree in public health and a diploma in tropical diseases.
He has special interest in chronic disease conditions, especially diabetes. Hence, he obtained a diploma in diabetes at the Cardiff University, UK.
Dr Bielu is also keen on physical look and cosmetic aspect of patients’ wellbeing. He is completing a Board-Certified Training in medical aesthetics and skin care. He has the vision to run one of the most effective aesthetics medical studios in Calgary.
He has four beautiful children.
